Ratna Devianty, S.H., AIIArb.

Devi graduated from Universitas Trisakti, Jakarta, in 1998 with a major in International Law. Prior to founding RD Advisory, she garnered extensive professional experience handling various legal cases, primarily focused on dispute resolution and negotiation through litigation as well as alternative dispute resolution and arbitration. In addition to her litigation expertise, Devi manages corporate practices, offering a comprehensive range of services that include general corporate advisory, company establishment and dissolution, corporate governance, foreign investment advisement in Indonesia, acquisition processes—including legal due diligence—and legal assistance for creative events in the entertainment industry. Notably, she assisted the Indonesian Swimming Federation in a case at the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne, Switzerland, in 2014.

 

Devi began her legal career in 1999 at Adnan Buyung Nasution & Partners, where she handled a variety of legal matters involving public and private companies, as well as state-owned enterprises across diverse industries, including oil and gas, telecommunications, and consumer goods. Her responsibilities included negotiation and dispute resolution through litigation (from District Court to Supreme Court) and arbitration. Devi has demonstrated outstanding capabilities in managing litigation cases across civil, criminal, and commercial courts, with a keen and innovative approach to each case.

 

Recently, Devi oversees all legal matters within the health services industry, encompassing general corporate issues, compliance, and litigation. She is also actively involved in bankruptcy cases, having successfully won a significant bankruptcy case at the Commercial Court of Jakarta.

 

Devi has held an Advocate License since 1999 and has been a member of the Indonesian Bar Association since January 2003. She is a certified Arbiter and has been listed as an Associate Member of the Indonesian Institute of Arbitrators since October 2024.
